Delete account

We are sorry to see you go! If you choose to delete your HachiCap account, this guide will walk you through the process step-by-step and explain what happens to your personal data.

Important Notice Before Deleting

Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible.

When your account is deleted:

• All data will be immediately purged.
• Active subscriptions will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

Tip: If you only need to take a break or reset your workspace, you can pause your subscription.

Delete Your Account

To initiate account deletion:

1. Open the HachiCap app or web portal.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Under the Account section, tap or click Delete account.
4. A confirmation modal will appear with a randomly generated 4-digit Confirmation Code.
5. Type the displayed 4-digit code into the Enter code to confirm field.
6. Click Delete Account to confirm.
7. Your cloud account and all cached local data will be permanently cleared, and you will be logged out immediately.

Data Retention & GDPR Compliance

• Immediate Access Revocation: You will be logged out of all active devices immediately.
• Hard Deletion: All personal identifiers and user data are purged from active database clusters within 24 hours.
